Highly Accomplished IBM IIS Architect Timothy Valihora

Based in Vero Beach, Florida, Timothy Valihora has more than three decades of experience in technical architecture, ETL, data governance, data warehousing, and software development across numerous industries. He specializes in IBM InfoSphere Information Server (IIS) architecture. In 2019, Timothy Valihora joined Austin Energy as an IBM InfoSphere IIS consultant. As the platform lead, his responsibilities encompass all necessary operational support and related IIS administration for IBM IIS v.11.5.0.2 SP6 and the IIS v11.7.1.1 Suite. He oversees a litany of additional database management and data services responsibilities at Austin Energy. He has held similar positions with IBM, CDW, Sirius Consulting, Humana, Vanguard, UPHS, CGI, Bell Canada and many other corporations (over 65 successful data integration projects to date.)

Mr. Valihora has also played lead roles on major projects for BNSF Railway, Walmart, and the City of Ottawa, among others. He has held contracts with CitiGroup, AMC Theatres, and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), to name only a few of his IIS positions.

More recently Tim Valihora has specialized in IBM Cloud PAK for Data (CP4D) installs on Red Hat Open Shift technology - including "DataStage Anywhere", Watson Knowledge Catalog, Enterprise Search and IBM IIS "Traditional."

Mr. Valihora also currently has multiple clients and provides third party support for IBM InfoSphere products such as IIDR (Data Replication), DataStage, QualityStage, Information Analyzer, IGC, IGD and FastTrack.

Timothy Valihora studied math, computer science, commerce, and film at Carleton University in Ottawa. In addition to his IBM InfoSphere Information Server Expert credentials, he is a Collibra-certified data quality engineer.

Mr. Valihora holds an Honors Degree from Carleton University and currently resides in Vero Beach Florida and Hay Bay in Ontario.

In his spare time Tim enjoys tennis, squash, golf and plays drums, guitar, bass and keyboards.
